Hospice Photography Session

It’s been an honor over the last few years to Partner with Transitions Life Care to offer the families they work with hospice photography sessions. I do this on a volunteer basis and it brings me a lot of joy to be able to offer this to families who are experiencing very difficult situations. Because of my experience with my son’s illness and extended stay in the hospital, I become more acutely aware of just how precious our time is with our people. I saw first hand just how precious every photograph becomes after someone has passed. While we don’t often show the more difficult parts of life - such as illness and death- there is still so much beauty in this part of life too.

Below you will see some images from a dear family and their beloved medically complex kiddo. You can see how sweetly her siblings love on her! Despite the challenges they face daily, there is still so much joy in the being together.
