The Family Story: What a joy to be a part of this special house warming ceremony - a Griha Pravesh. The Kovuri family recently moved into a new home and along with the guidance of a priest and support of their family + friends they purified their new environment and protected their home from negative energies through ritual and ceremony.

They broke coconut and pumpkin at the entrance of the home to sanctify and symbolize removal of hurdles from the path of their journey. They incorporated boiled milk as a sign of prosperity to the house. And many more gorgeous rituals and sacred elements to this day!
