Lauster Family at Crabtree Lake in Cary, North Carolina

When we arrived at the Lake a huge storm rolled in, so we all ran into the forest for cover. We almost packed everything back up, but I’m so glad we decided to wait out the storm because we were rewarded with this gorgeous light before sunset.

The light often has a different quality to it after a storm - it’s even more beautiful, more magical. Or perhaps my appreciation of the light deepens after a storm. What a good reminder.
