Why are Films so much more expensive than photos?
Why are films so much more expensive?
Often people are surprised to discover how long it takes to edit a Film! We spend anywhere from 30-40 hrs (sometimes even longer) to create a Film. Plus we license all the music we use for each Film, which is quite expensive! On some projects we will go even a step further and Mark will compose the music for the Film! Which is really, really special and meaningful, but also takes a great deal of time!
Video requires far more time than it takes for photos and an even greater amount of creative energy.
It might seem expensive, and for we recognize it is a bit huge investment that not every family can afford, but we can guarantee you it's worth it and the value of that film will increase with every year that goes by after you've had it made.
You can see an example of a Family Film we created last Fall in South Durham, North Carolina!
